"Kingpin", Digital Hybrid Painting, 16x24, $300
Cheryl King is a 4th generation Puget Sounder with a divine love of nature and its denizens. While she has painted every imaginable subject in her 30+ year career, she has honed down her primary focus to the animal kingdom. Cheryl travels near and far to photograph her subjects, knowing how important it is to observe them in real life, to capture their genuine spirit. Her earliest years were spent visiting Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo, engendering her love of all things critter. Currently she paints oil on aluminum in varied sizes and smaller pieces of mixed media, using both acrylics and oils. To Cheryl all animals are sacred and without a voice, which created her mission to give back a portion of her sales to animal conservancy. She approaches life with energy, boldness and positivity which resonate in her work. Cheryl has plans to visit Costa Rica in early 2025 to further expand her knowledge and resource library for future paintings. Keep in touch for exciting things ahead!
