Painting Wire Installation Guidelines

1) Make marks one third of the total painting height down from the top of the painting on both sides of the canvas's frame, not the painting's frame, if it has one.

2) Place the tops of the D-Ring hangers even with the marks on the canvas frame.

3) Mark the D-Ring hangers' hole locations.

4) Drill pilot holes and attach the D-Rings with screws.

5) Attach a free end of the hanging wire to one of the D-Rings with a crimp.

6) Extend the wire so its apex is 2-3 inches below the top of the painting.

7) Extend the wire to the second D-Ring and attach it with a crimp.
