Go Goth! Blackletter Calligraphy
Blackletter calligraphy is seen on biker jackets, vampire movie posters, heavy metal rock band albums— and even on old-fashioned holiday cards. If you can draw a straight line, you can master this bold calligraphy.
Then in the second class, use your lettering for a variety of projects such as glass etching, dry embossing, sparkling thermal embossing and “stained glass” illumination with colored pencils.
Janice Rapp has taught calligraphy for 30 years. She has done calligraphy for a lead member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, for St. Mark’s Cathedral, and for a certain Microsoft family in Medina.
